Early Maya Jadeite and Shell Necklace and Snuff Tube

The necklace consists of varied beads and discs, probably all found together and, some pieces, not necessarily a part of the necklace. The large central pendant is a flattened jadeite panel with high polish and in an axe form, measuring 2 ½" by 1 ¾". The beads themselves include several varied size jadeite tubular and spherical beads, a few discs, and small barrel forms. Included are a few small conch shell discs and one conch core tube that was, more than likely, a snuffing tube for ritual uses.
