Condition Report*:
On stable board. Small loss to upper right corner. Some rubbing at edges, likely from an earlier frame. An approximately 2 1/2-inch diagonal scuff in upper left corner, affecting the left edge of the figure's hat. Faint, finely patterned craquelure. Two faint horizontal lines of scuffing in lower right quadrant. Mild surface dirt and dust. Bears USSR-period stamp on the reverse, in Cyrillic reads "Control over the export of treasures abroad". This work is offered unframed.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Some fine retouching appears around the edges of the girl's face and in the folds of her hat. Some modern pigments fluoresce.
