Constance Forsyth was one of the premier printmakers in the Southwest. She was the first woman to join the University of Texas art faculty and she was responsible for the development of the printmaking program at UT.

The Cloud is typical of her semi-abstract studies of natural forms.

This print has remnants of an exhibition sticker and was most likely entered in a juried exhibition.
