    This illustration appeared on pages 75-76 in the book, Beyond Jupiter: The Worlds of Tomorrow, by famed author Arthur C. Clarke and Chesley Bonestell, Little. Brown and Company, 1972.

    "Saturn Seen From Enceledus. Enceledus, third moon of Saturn, is 148,000 miles out. The second moon, Mimas, is visible in the plane of the rings."

    A copy of the book and a photograph of the painting taken at an exhibition are included in this lot.


    Condition Report*: Unless otherwise noted, this lot is in good condition with only normal wear commensurate with age. Matted and framed to an overall size of 20 x 23.5in. Not examined outside of frame.
