Sotheby's, New York, January 27, 2007, lot 681;
Bonhams, New York, April 21, 2010, lot 156, acquired from the above;
Private collection, Los Angeles, California, acquired from the above.
Condition Report*:
Original canvas, somewhat slack in frame. Two small paint flakes in the background to left of figure's head and along the back on the right side of her body in the dark background. UV examination reveals that the figure's dress and face have been selectively cleaned. There ar touches of inpaint on the figures forward arm and a bit on the seat at lower right.
