Wally Findlay Galleries, New York and Palm Beach;
Acquired by the present owner from the above.
The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by the Findlay Institute and will be included in their forthcoming André Hambourg catalogue raisonné currently underway. A certificate of authenticity accompanies the lot.
Condition Report*:
Unlined canvas. Pinholes in each corner and in center of upper and lower edges. Slight frame abrasion at edges. An extremely few pinpoint losses. Not examined out of frame.
Under UV: some areas of varnish fluoresce green unevenly. Finely applied retouching to address frame abrasion in upper left corner. Some modern pigments fluoresce, commensurate with age.
