composed of an ash haft and cast pewter blade, the haft decorated with coiled brass wire on the grip, surmounted by a floral design carved in low relief, the raised edges with hot-file branding, filled with red, yellow, blue and green pigments, similar branding above with brass tack decoration, trimmed with a triangular drop suspended from the base, lane-stitched in shades of blue, red, and pink beads with a series of six stacked triangles, hide fringe below, with globular brass beads
