    Amos Sewell's lighthearted small town scene of pure Americana appeared as the cover on the November 26, 1960 issue of The Saturday Evening Post.

    Amos Sewell studied under illustration legend Harvey Dunn, and his career began in 1936 with an illustration for Country Gentleman. His work appeared for over 20 years in The Saturday Evening Post.
