Condition Report*:
Unlined canvas. A 2 inch square patch on the reverse at proper left side of lower edge. An approximately 1-inch horizontal tear in upper left quadrant. Very minor frame abrasion at extreme edges. Surface dirt and dust. Not examined out of frame.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Scattered finely applied retouching to address prior craquelure. A few small brushy patches of retouching at edges. Strengthening applied to some darker tones. A brushy area of retouching at right side of lower edge, coordinating with location of patch on the reverse, possibly a repair.
