This exquisite painting was started in the 1920's when Vargas was creating some of his finest pieces. During this time he was surrounded by beautiful women from the Ziegfeld Follies. This piece was in his possession when he died.

Highlighted in "Vargas" book by Alberto Vargas & Reid Austin, page 84-85, with description "evolved from drawings done in the twenties".
