A VIENNESE COLD PAINTED BRONZE FIGURAL INKWELL ON GRANITE BASE
Franz Bergman, Vienna, Austria, circa 1880-1890
Marks: B (in amphora), GESCH.
6-3/8 x 14-3/8 x 7-1/8 inches (16.1 x 36.4 x 18.1 cm)

The inkstand in the form of a man with gun seated on a covered ottoman on plinth, rug lies in front of plinth with lute and ewer, to either side a Turkish-form table with hinged top that reveals ceramic liner, one table top with ewer.


Condition Report*: in fine and original condtion with some wear to painted surface, ceramic liners are intact with little remaining of original gilding to rim
