A NORTHERN PLAINS PAINTED WOOD MIRROR BOARDc. 1875
the recessed mirror decorated on three sides with brass tacks, a triangular perforation at top with otter fur strap and rocker-engraved German silver tweezers attached

Length: 11 ¼ inches
Condition Report*:
Overall fair. Mirror chipped and losing silver backing. Wood cracked full length on reverse with 1 x ¾ inch chipped area. Wood with pigment fading. Hide strap with sparse fur and pigment loss. Medicine pouch moderately soiled. Silver tweezers tarnished and stained. No apparent restoration.
