    A LATE CLASSIC NAVAJO SERAPE
    c. 1875 finely and tightly woven of native handspun Merino wool in natural ivory and brown, and indigo-dyed blue; raveled American flannel in red; and three-ply commercial wool in vegetal-dyed beige, with a pattern of large-scale diamonds overlaying a finely banded moki ground

    Dimensions: 71 x 55 inches




    Condition Report*: In overall very good condition.  No holes; warp and weft inact.  Approx. 5% restored, mostly along the edges.  No A or B side.  No bleeding.  One stain, approx. 1/2" in diameter, apparent on one side.
