Description

TWO ACOMA POLYCHROME JARS
c. 1950

clay, paint, one signed on the base, Acoma, NM, made by Marie Sarracino

Diameters: 7 and 9 inches

Condition Report*: Each in overall good condition. No breaks, cracks, or chips. The smaller example, with minor abrasions affecting the painted design, crazing, and light soiling. The larger example, with crazing, moderate soiling, and one dot of dark green paint on the shoulder. No apparent restoration to either.
