Three Nicer Small Figurines

Veracruz, Chupicuaro, and Nayarit

The Chupicuaro figure is that of a plump woman standing upright with a black painted face, the body in red, and with eroded areas where the figure would have been held and carried for fertility rituals. Interestingly, the figure has open holes for both orifices at the waist. A nicely slipped and painted standing Nayarit figure with red paint is covered in root markings and ancient deposits and in excellent condition. Lastly, a well modeled solid body Veracruz standing man wearing a spiked headdress, collar, and loin cover; in solid condition, missing a few small spikes from ancient times and heavily encrusted in as found condition.
