THREE ANASAZI BLACK-ON-WHITE ITEMS
c. 1250 A.D.

including two bowls and a ladle, each with solid and hatched geometric designs

Dimensions: bowls, 6 ½ and 8 ¾ inches in diameter; ladle, 9 ½ in length


Condition Report*: The larger bowl, in overall fair to good condition.   Cracked and reassembled from a number of pieces.  Plaster and glue apparent.  Chips on the rim. Otherwise surface with usual wear, including crazing and very light soiling.  One fire cloud on the bottom. Two small stickers affixed to the bottom.  The smaller bowl, in overall very good condition.  No major breaks, cracks, or chips.  Surface with usual wear, including abrasion affecting the painted design.  Three small stickers affixed to the bottom.  No apparent restoration.  The ladle, in overall good condition.  One crack, approx. 2" in length, descending from the rim. Adjacent area on the rim with loss.  Surface with usual wear, including paint loss, especially on the handle.  One small sticker affixed to the bottom and evidence of the glue from another sticker apparent on the bottom.  No apparent restoration.
