Peter Max (American, b. 1937)Group of Miscellaneous Printed Material
Binder constituting a veritable library of over 125 of Peter Max's works created for the United States Postal Service, including several First Day Cover and First Day of Issue stamps and envelopes created in support of Max's favorite causes, most published in editions of 5 or less.
The following lithographs and their certificates of authenticity are included in this lot:
-Two Sages, 2000, Ed. 302/500, signed and numbered
-Star Catcher, 2002, Ed. 451/500, signed and numbered
-Great Wave with Doves, 2002, Ed. 452/500, signed and numbered
-Sage on Mountain, 2002, Ed. 452/500, signed and numbered
-Star Catcher (mini), 2001, Ed. 478/500, signed and numbered
-Winged Flyer with Sunrise, Ver. II, 2001, Ed. 453/500, signed and numbered
Also included in this lot is a "Paint Your Wagon" movie program, with graphic design by Peter Max, 1969.

Condition Report*:
Winged Flyer with Sunrise has some surface grime; some water staining and general wear to the Paint Your Wagon movie program; otherwise, there are no other apparent major condition issues to any of the other materials.
