Height: 9 ½ inches Max. dia. at opening: 2 1/8 inches

The decoration of this high-status drinking horn is plain apart from a series of notches on the inside, near the opening and a panel of carefully incised designs of parallel framing lines and scalloped patterns enclosing three four-petal flower-like motifs. The patination indicates an extended period of use.
