Bunny Yeager considered the moment she was able to afford this Rolleiflex a signifier that she was indeed a professional photographer. The camera appears in multiple self-portraits included in this auction, including the view that shows her against a stone wall, eyes downturned, which is one of her undisputed masterpieces. It was a personal treasure to her, and is an artifact of her career that is unsurpassed.

Through her life, Bunny Yeager saved a small assortment of her favorite cameras, which were often featured as props in her extensive self-portrait photo shoots, including images featured within this auction.
