A SIOUX MODEL STONEHEAD WAR CLUBc. 1900
composed of a cylindrical wood handle wrapped with natural and dyed porcupine quillwork, surmounted by a small catlinite head with lead inlay
Length: 21 inches
Condition Report*:
In overall good condition. Wood with hole through tip, porcupine quilling loose at one end, with fading and abrasion. Porcupine quilling loss on dangles ties. Catlinite head with some scuffing. Lead club tips with wear; slight looseness in head. Horsehair dangles intact but faded, with all metal cones attached. No apparent restoration.
