composed of a black horse tail pendant, overlaid with a panel of hide, and decorated with a series of zigzag bands, sinew sewn and lane-stitched in brightly colored glass seed beads, trimmed with porcupine quillwork and metal cones inserted with red-dyed chicken feathers, accompanied by a red ribbon inscribed, Second Prize, Arts + Crafts Intertribal Indian Ceremonial, Gallup, NM 1953
