Description
A NAVAJO REGIONAL RUGc. 1920
woven of native handspun wool in natural ivory and brown and aniline red and tan, with a central eight-point star, enclosing small geometric motifs, diamonds, feathers and spades in the open field
Dimensions: 57 x 46 inches
Condition Report*:
In overall good condition. No holes. Some fraying on the edges. No fading or bleeding. Tan areas with surface loss (insect damage?). A couple of small dark stains apparent on one side. Corner ties with some loss. No apparent restoration.
