The vase of two-piece construction, upper baluster segment with floral and foliate motifs, midsection with dragons, leaves and blossoms, upper sections connected at lower waist, lowest portion with chrysanthemums and dragons, JP Morgan Collection label(s) to underside and interior neck.





Condition Report*: Various stickers to underside, midsection with later grout to joint, old chip and restoration to lip with some stable hairline emanation (records indicate repairs were performed while J.P. Morgan or the Duveen brothers owned the vase), stable hairline emanating from waist to lowest segment, minor X-shaped hairline to underside, with wear commensurate with age and use.
