A LATE-CLASSIC NAVAJO MOKI SERAPE
c. 1865

woven of native handspun wool in natural and aniline shades of ivory, brown, indigo blue, green, and red, with a banded pattern

The Toledo Museum of Natural History

Dimensions: 75 x 53 inches

Condition Report*: In overall poor condition. Numerous holes; warp threads exposed overall. Loss along the edges. Some bleeding of red dyes onto ivory areas. No apparent restoration.
