The Daoping Mine has been closed for a while, making examples like this a hot commodity in the mineral collecting realm. This large Pyromorphite plate measures nearly 6 inches (15.24 cm) while displaying the coveted apple-green hue the mineral is known for. The acicular crystals litter this specimen creating a mesmerizing radiating pattern. The crystals display amazing luster and show minimal damage with only contact points evident along the sides. Offerings such as this one are rare and should not be passed up.
