    Platinum Nugget
    Isovsky District
    Sverdlovskaya Oblast
    Middle Ural Mountains

Platinum may actually be the King of the precious metals, and the material, in nugget form, is not often seen as collectible specimens. Much rarer than Gold nuggets, Platinum nuggets are usually rather small making large examples quite uncommon. This collector grade, museum quality and superlative Platinum nugget weighs an amazing 18.23 troy ounces (1.25 pounds), making it, without doubt, one of the largest that could be owned privately! In addition to its massive size, this nugget is relatively aesthetic with both smooth and textural surfaces, as well as a sculptural artistic form. This is a truly singular offering given its unbelievable size, excellent shape and sheer rarity. Silver color dominates the dense sample with visible black highlights adding contrast to its irregular exterior. This represents the rare opportunity to own one of the biggest Platinum nuggets in existence which happens to be a superb collectible mineral specimen.
    Overall Measurements: 2.65 x 1.75 x 1.20 inches (6.74 x 4.44 x 3.05 cm), weighs 567 grams (18.23 oz t)

    Provenance: MIM Mineral Museum (Beirut)
