    Millbillillie Meteorite
    Stony - Eucrite-mmict
Jundee Stations, Wiluna district, Western Australia (26° 27'S, 120° 22'E
    Fall: October 1960

Named after the Australian cattle station where it fell in October of 1960, the incredibly oddly named Millbillillie Meteorite is classified as an achondrite Eucrite, making it part of the "HED" clan. The stony kind of Meteorite was not collected until a decade after it landed. This very characteristic specimen is notable for the rust-reddish "staining" it exhibits as the result of impacting then sitting out in the local reddish clay soil. Fortunately, while the coating does largely obscure the fusion curst of this particular specimen, it does not cover the obvious orientation and plainly visible striations from the nose of this unique looking Meteorite. The specimen weighs 56 grams and is a fine representation of a Eucrite.
    Overall Measurements: 2.11 x 1.61 x 1.01 inches (5.37 x 4.10 x 2.57 cm), weighs 56 gm (1.98 oz.)

[Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
