    Leadhillite, Cerussite & Wulfenite
Mammoth-St Anthony Mine, St. Anthony Deposit, Tiger, Mammoth District, Pinal Co., Arizona, USA

"I believe the specimen to be unique. It shows pale green hexagonal tabular leadhillite crystals growing on cerussite and a crust of tiny orange wulfenite crystals. It makes an interesting contrast to the robins egg blue crystal specimen in my collection that I believe to be the finest of its kind. I bought this in 1972 from Jack Streeter when he sold me his best Tiger things for $500. At the time we did not know for sure what it was. In 2003 I asked Tony Kampf of the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History to run an x-ray and [he] determined it to be leadhillite."
    - Rock H. Currier

Rock believed this specimen to be unique and based on his many years of research in the mineral museums of the world, he was in a position to back up that assessment with carefully curated photographs of those many collections visited during his career. The fact that Rock had Tony Kampf do the research on the specimen to get a definitive analysis is icing on the cake. Enough said. It has a custom acrylic stand.
