    Description

    Hydrocerussite & Linarite
Mammoth-St Anthony Mine, St. Anthony Deposit,, Tiger, Mammoth District, Pinal Co., Arizona, USA

"A cluster of pyramidal white hydrocerussite crystals to about half an inch. There is a little linerite [sic] ? associated. This specimen is probably the best of its kind. At least after 50 years of looking I have not seen better. Got this specimen when Jack Streeter sold me his best Tiger things in 1972 for $500. Jack was a traveling salesman he was able to visit the Tiger mine in the early days and was able to buy some good specimens from the miners."
    - Rock H. Currier

Rock was fortunate in connecting with Jack Streeter when he did, because Jack was in a unique position of being able to personally select choice specimens as they came out of the mine. Most Tiger specimens have been through several collections and although many are not the best examples, any specimens of these minerals from this deposit are valued highly. It has a custom acrylic stand.
