    Gold Nugget
    Bendigo Goldfields
    City of Greater Bendigo
    Victoria, Australia

It is estimated that there are fewer than 300 Gold nuggets that weigh over 50 troy ounces. This solid and vibrant Gold example tips the scales at 50.7 troy ounces making it an incredible rarity, simply for its size. However, this is far from just a big Gold nugget. The metallic "monster" has the shape of a powder horn with a broad end that tapers to an open point. The enormous specimen is worthy of being held with two hands and surely would be a crowning centerpiece to most any top collection that features major Golds. Numerous natural indentations pepper the relatively smooth surfaces, and a sizable hole near one edge adds further dimension to the already superlative example. This represents rarefied air and is simply a one-of-a-kind member of an extremely elite class. The majority of all Gold ever mined is refined, so any nuggets in their natural form are inherently rare, and large nuggets are inherently scarce on the planet. This massive piece displays a brilliant luster and intense classic golden coloration. This is simply superb.
    Overall Measurements: 5.48 x 2.90 x 1.09 inches (13.92 x 7.36 x 2.78 cm), weighs 1,576.9 grams (50 oz t)
