    Description

    Gold Nugget
    Ballarat, City of Ballarat
    Victoria
    Australia

A monstrous Gold nugget from Australia, this serious piece weighs a whopping 26.5 troy ounces and is simply a mass of precious metal in a uniquely shaped form. This highly irregular specimen has multiple 'arms' radiating in various directions from a rock core that has grown around white and reddish-brown matrix. Presented on a custom engraved acrylic base, this wonder from Down Under is enormous, and the incredible example loosely resembles a natural toy from a game of Jacks, in the abstract. Each, and every, face of this representation is unique and markedly different from all of the others. This nugget is unlike the vast majority of all others, not only for its size, but also for its shape as this is not just a blob.
    Overall Measurements: 3.94 x 2.58 x 2.46 inches (10.02 x 6.55 x 6.24 cm), weighs 824 grams (26.6 oz t)

[Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
