    Gemstone: Opal - 25.31 Cts.
    Ethiopia

    This fantastic precious Fire Opal features a medium-dome cabochon shape with an intense broad flash "play-of-color." The symmetrical, oval shaped cabochon exhibits a translucent appearance with a yellow bodycolor but also exhibits Crystal Opal characteristics - with a clear bodycolor - depending on how it is viewed. When looked at from different angles, a multitude of colors becomes evident. Instantaneously, the viewer is struck by strong flashes of electric blue, green, yellow and purple, with bright pops of red. The stone exhibits a nice polish all around and displays "play-of-color" on both the primary and reverse sides. This sizable 25+ carat cabochon is in great condition and is a classic example of an Ethiopian Opal.
    Measurements: 25.65 x 19.19 x 10.71 mm, 25.31 cts.
