DescriptionGemstone: Jeremejevite - 1.72 Cts.
Jeremejevite is an extremely rare gemstone. It has an attractive powder blue hue and is quite hard and ideal for jewelry application. This nearly 2 carat stone has the ideal lovely light blue coloration with a tinge of violet and yields from the top locality. The blue color is well-balance which is a testament to the cutter who fashioned this stone into a modern cushion shape with a step cut crown and brilliant cut pavilion. The stone has visible unique liquid filled inclusions, but these do not detract from the overall appearance of the stone. The stone is in pristine condition. This material is not seen on the market often.
Measurements: 6.95 x 6.59 x 4.80 mm, 1.72 cts.
Provenance: The Jena Blue Collection
Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
