    Gemstone: Emerald - 3.16 Cts.

This stone represents the Emerald variety of Beryl. Emeralds are part of the "Big Three," meaning it is one of the most coveted gemstones available. One of the main factors in its popularity is the intense green bodycolor. Ethiopian stones are known for a vibrant almost neon green hue which is present with this gem and the hue is nicely balanced and saturated. This Emerald features an oval shape with a modified brilliant crown and a step cut pavilion. The stone does have eye-visible inclusions, but this is extremely common for such material. This stone is sizeable at 3.16 carats and is accompanied by a GIA Certificate (#5182391912) , which states it has no indications of clarity enhancements. Clarity enhancements are extremely common with this included material, making this a rare exception. Overall, this stone is in excellent condition, free of abrasions and displays nice transparency as well as scintillation. As a vaunted member of the "Big Three" gemstones, this example does not disappoint.
    Measurements: 11.31 x 8.54 x 5.95 mm, 3.16 cts.
