    Fluorite with Quartz
    Xiefang Mine, Ruijin Co.
    Ganzhou, Jiangxi

While the "pagoda" style Fluorites did come out of this famous mine locality, which is actually better known for Baryte than Fluorite, material with such "sparkle" and geometry on the contrasting white Quartz matrix only came out once, likely around 2014-2015. This large cabinet mineral offers a most dramatic visual impact as the highly translucent crystals, which are undamaged, exhibit intense and dynamic texture and an unbelievable lime green coloration. This particular specimen was trimmed, expertly, to result in an ideal collector example. The saturated hue is far superior to the typical dull green exhibited by most other material from the location. The combination of geometry, color, and "sparkle" offered by the stepped crystal faces results in a unique blend characterizing this as a truly iconic representation. This particular piece from that particular find make this a true Chinese classic. Offered from the collection of Zhang Jun, the wonderful example is presented on an engraved acrylic base. Zhang Jun is also the owner of the famous private Foo Young Museum of Minerals in Xi'An City.
    Measurements: 8.66 x 6.89 x 3.94 inches (22.00 x 17.50 x 10.00 cm)

    Provenance: Ex. Zhang Jun Collection
