Beryl var. Aquamarine on Quartz "V"
    Shigar District

This incredible, impressive and massive "V" shaped Aquamarine on Quartz obviously features a number of superlative attributes. First, the extremely gemmy "Aqua" crystal is amazingly clear, quite sizable and of spectacular blue color. The balance, and natural aesthetic, of the specimen needs no explanation, and, of course, the origin of the material is key - Shigar District, Pakistan. The incomparable, gorgeous blue beryl measures an astonishing 8 inches (20 cm) in length and is ideally situated against the colossal opaque Quartz that serves to counterbalance it perfectly on this museum quality association. The secondary balance of the 6-sided aspect of both of the relatively huge crystals is sublime as is the juxtaposition of the translucency of the Aquamarine versus the opacity of the Quartz. Presented with a custom acrylic base, this showstopper really needs no commentary. This is a serious mineral association for the most discerning of collector. An irrelevant clean, nearly invisible, repair with minor restoration at the junction is to be noted.
    Overall Measurements: 11.42 x 7.09 x 4.33 inches (29.00 x 18.00 x 11.00 cm)

[Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
