This bona fide variety of preserved shell from prehistoric Ammonites is both a fossil and a gemstone, known as Ammolite. This unique material is only found in a rather limited region. This gel packed example showcases "dragon skin" pattern often associated with the unique material. This piece has an overall attractive yellowish-green hue.
