    Description

    Agate Slice with Amethyst "Snake"
    Brazil

This piece visually resembles a "snake" - somewhat like the Rainbow Serpent - a deity in Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime. The snake is naturally composed of a visually appealing light Amethyst which exhibits several different hues including creamy whites, rose pinks, light lavenders, and dark purples. Throughout the entire face are sporadic "cloud" like pockets of druzy Quartz crystals adding another interesting element to this unique mineral specimen. The original matrix is still on the top and bottom consisting of a rustic, creamy Limestone with porous cavities. This sculptural piece can also add line, an important element for interior design, to any space. The rock "serpent" provides linear width, as well as the appearance of movement and flow. This design element can be displayed from either side and is cradled in a custom metal armature which is affixed to a custom acrylic base. This decorative element is in excellent condition and should be displayed in the forefront of any room needing a serpentine twist.
    Overall Measurements: 27.52 x 3.94 x 10.24 inches (69.90 x 10.00 x 26.00 cm)
