"Star" Rose Quartz Sphere

This beautiful sphere has many endearing attributes. Firstly, the lovely pinkish-red coloration is very attractive, created by the pink fibers inside. Secondly, this sphere has an incredible optical phenomenon known as an asterism. This is created by these tiny fibers within the mineral which reflect light back in a "star" formation. Depending on where the light, and viewer, are located determines where the "star" can be seen. This is an incredible sphere with an amazing cut and polish and is truly more than meets the eye. The saturated color of this incredible example and the amazing asterism make this a treasure.
