In this case, a large log has been cut into rectangular slabs which have been expertly cut and polished into a spectacular tabletop. This particular specimen measures 44 inches (111.76 cm) long and 21 inches (53.34 cm) wide, and it would make a striking, one-of-a-kind coffee table - sure to get the attention of anyone who sees it. Featuring a spectacular array of colors, this tabletop is replete with the brilliant reds, the vibrant magentas, the bold yellows and the subtle blues so prized in these Petrified Wood specimens. This large piece is reinforced with wood encased in fiberglass to enhance the strength and durability of this incredible specimen. The material is resistant to stain and is designed to be used, so this tabletop adds the aspect of functionality to the sheer beauty of the item. This would be a centerpiece of any home décor.
