Height 11 1/2 in. Width 12 1/2 in.
This olla is characterized by its graceful flaring walls and tapering neck. It is painted with a series of geometric forms outlined in black, black on white designs within, all floating against a red ground, and with an unusual scalloped red underbody. A note in pencil written on the side of the jar: "Pot of Pueblo Indian, Sept. 16, 1911, Alaska, New Mex."
