This is a gorgeous and solid lapidary object of bright Turquoise from an unusual locality - Mexico. The polished organic free-form weighs 440 grams, or about a pound in weight, and is very well-polished, featuring a pleasing shape that stands nicely on its own for display. Based on its characteristics, this Turquoise specimen is believed to be from the Mariquita Mine. Yielding from an older collection, this is simply a stunning piece of a Copper bi-product.
