    Topaz in Matrix
    Katlang, Mardan District
    Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North-West Frontier Province)
    Pakistan
    3.03 x 1.63 x 2.24 inches (7.70 x 4.13 x 5.69 cm)

    This very "gemmy" Topaz crystal exhibits an amazing peachy-pink color with water-clear transparency. The crystal is included but this creates mesmerizing iridescence for the viewer. This little "gem" sits perched on its original matrix and yields from Pakistan, a top locality for this material. There is a little "Wilber" on the top corner, which is evident in the picture. This is an aesthetic specimen in the matrix.
