    Topaz & Quartz
    Nujiang, Yunnan, China

"A sharp shiny transparent well formed topaz crystals with a small quartz crystal growing on one side. Got the specimen from Zheng Jain-Rong (Mr. Goodie Good) when he came over from Changsha, China to sell at the Tucson gem and mineral show."
    - Rock H. Currier

FYI: "Nujiang" means "Nu River" - not exactly a well-defined location. Possibly Mr. Goodie Good knows more and would like to keep it quiet, or possibly he doesn't know exactly where this thing came from. In any event there aren't many of these being offered for sale. May be a one-time find. Who knows? The specimen is quite good with complex faces, super transparency, and a Quartz crystal to spice up the piece. It would be nice if we could see more of these, or could find out where they really came from.
