Rhodochrosite with Tetrahedrite on Pyrite

Draping over a sparkling Pyrite matrix is a dense carpet of vivid, floral-pink Rhodochrosite rosettes. The Rhodochrosite has a nice luster that gently accents each of the thin blades throughout the rosettes; near the center of the display view, there is a "ridge" completely formed from these interwoven rosettes that adds a greater three-dimensionality to the specimen. Scattered across the top view are several sharp, lustrous crystals of Tetrahedrite, each with a deep metallic gray color that sharply contrasts with the pastel Rhodochrosite below. This piece is in excellent condition.
