This stately Veracruz Amethyst has both excellent balance and composition. There are six incredibly glassy, primary crystals that comprise this lovely piece. Each starts out slightly turbid and very light purple, transitioning quickly into gem-clear, darker purple prisms with perfect pyramidal terminations. A few other, smaller pale Amethystine crystals are present around the base. Although common in principle, this top-caliber specimen has exceptional aesthetics.
