A petite but spectacular Quartz specimen with very well-defined Japan Law twinning, presented aesthetically atop a flat Quartz sliver, which has been completely recrystallized-making this piece a complete floater! Along with a striking transparency, the twinned Quartz shows very well-defined phantoms at the center of each growth, almost perfectly outlining the terminated crystals. The PC ("Perfect Crystal") Mine is best known for its Japan Law Twin Quartz specimens, of which this piece is a superb example.
