    3.78 x 2.93 x 1.40 inches (9.61 x 7.44 x 3.55 cm)

    The rare Copper phosphate hydroxide mineral Libethenite originally had Slovak origins being initially discovered in 1823 and given a German name related to the locality. This example hails from Zambia, and the piece features a relatively sizable blackish-green crystal in a round cavity on a brown matrix. This oddity sits up on a sawn bottom allowing for an impressive vertical orientation without any base.
