    3.05 x 2.10 x 0.94 inches (7.75 x 5.34 x 2.40 cm)

    Mineral collectors familiar with specimens from Russia will certainly be familiar with the Dal'negorsk region, and this example from the 1st Sovietskii Mine almost glows. This Hedenbergite in Datolite has rich light greenish massive prismatic crystals that glisten in light. This little specimen looks like some mountain range in the distance is quite solid, has great form and comes from an outstanding locality.
