Of all the colors of Fluorite, pink is considered to be the most elusive, and only a few places worldwide produce any at all. As is normal for pink Fluorite, the overall form is a simple octahedral one, but with slightly concave faces due to accelerated growth at the crystal vertices. The transparency is excellent, and the pink color shows a small amount of zoning. The rear of the specimen incorporates a few bladed, Muscovite crystals, further evidence of its pegmatitic origin. Condition is pristine with the only signs of contact being where the specimen was once attached to the pegmatite cavity wall on the backside.
